Playgrounds should be joyful places where kids can move, explore, and grow. But for children with disabilities or developmental challenges, many traditional playgrounds are filled with physical and social barriers.

Bridgeway Connections created the Motion Zone to be different. These playgrounds are therapeutic spaces designed for all abilities, where play and learning go hand in hand. They’re equipped with adaptive equipment, sensory-friendly zones, and safe surfaces—everything needed to turn a moment of fun into an opportunity for growth and treatment.

What makes a playground truly inclusive isn’t just the equipment—it’s the philosophy behind it. The Motion Zone welcomes not only children, but also providers who want to offer therapy in a dynamic, outdoor setting. And it welcomes community members, too—those who want to donate time, resources, or equipment to create a place where every child is invited to thrive.

Inclusion means more than access. It means designing environments where differences are considered from the start. When kids of all abilities can play together, they build empathy, confidence, and connection. That’s the kind of community we’re working toward—one playground at a time.
